The Best Graphics Cards For Gaming – 2019 (The Fastest, Best Value, and Top Rated)

In Guides, Hardware Guidesby Austin2 Comments

Welcome to the kingdom of GPU’s where gaming thrives in certain areas and falls in others. Different GPU’s come from different backgrounds and take on different forms.

While there are many kingdoms in the realm of GPU’s, we are going to be focused on one in particular known as the Gaming Kingdom.

All GPU’s that come from the Gaming Kingdom are known for their special abilities and strengths to take on gaming.

Every year several graphics cards battle against each other in a series of tests to determine who is the best.

Think of it as the Olympics, but with graphics cards. So settle down and we will be diving into the best graphics cards for gaming in 2019!

Allow me to introduce you to the finalists and they will tell you all about themselves.

The King of GPU’s (One of the Fastest)

Pros:

  • I am the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (Yes having that title alone is enough to be considered a pro)
  • I can handle 4k gaming with ease
  • Ray tracing is simple, but that doesn’t mean I’m simple
  • I stay pretty cool even under load
  • The RGB flows within me

Cons:

  • I am worth a lot and a great cost to society for my royalty (but not as much of a cost as my rival, otherwise known as the Titan RTX)
  • I could use some more ray tracing support in games

About Me:

Hello, every year we determine the strongest and fastest GPU and whomever that may be becomes the King. Peasants are no match for my abilities, for I will crush them with my strength and reigning authority that I hold over the Kingdom.

I get to stay the King of GPU’s until someone stronger overtakes my throne. Fun fact, I’m technically the second strongest GPU out there.

The original king was named the Titan RTX, but citizens impeached him for he was a great cost to society and since I was the second best out there I automatically became number one!

Cheap Labor (Best Value)

Pros:

  • I’m very valuable
  • I have excellent temperatures
  • I’m pretty quiet for the most part, sometimes I get a little chatty though

Cons:

  • I can barely handle VR and it won’t be the best performance if I try to process it

About Me:

Yes I’m that guy. I’m the guy who works my tail off, yet I don’t get paid very much. I’m very valuable though and don’t underestimate my skills.

I may not be the fastest, strongest, nor the King of GPU’s, but I am worth it for how strong I am. I don’t care if I don’t cost that much, all I want is to be helpful.

The Most Admired (Top Rated)

  • I’m great for VR with the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive
  • Fast OC Speeds
  • I’m pretty cool (in temperature)

Cons:

  • Sometimes my fans can be a bit loud

About Me:

I’m the celebrity of GPU’s, but not just any celebrity, I’m the most admired one out of them all. People love me for who I am and I’m all around great.

I’m reliable and never like to take days off and I always want to give you the best when it comes to quality. I’m really great with people and always seem to appease them.

I may have very little flaws, but few can really find anything wrong with me. Others may get annoyed with how chatty I am and sometimes call me loud, but it’s all good.

And the Winner is…

You got a great view of all the finalists in this competition. But I am the judge of this competition and there can only be one winner.

This is all of my opinion so feel free to disagree with what I think. I think the best GPU for gaming depends on a mixture of specialties.

Being a great GPU isn’t all about being the fastest, although that is an important factor. It’s a mixture of a little bit of everything good.

I think the best GPU is of great value, but not too cheap. The winner of what I think the best GPU to have for gaming has to go to the GTX 1070!

The GTX 1070 has the perfect balance between value, speed, and is one of the top rated GPU’s out there, which is why I believe it to be one of the best graphics cards for gaming.

This Is Just The Beginning!

While it’s time to wrap things up, this is just the beginning! As technology continues to grow every year you will see even better GPU’s to come.

I don’t recommend getting the newest GPU that comes out because the price will normally drop over the next year. It’s usually best to get a previous generation of graphics cards or to simply wait.

And I think that covers everything that I wanted to tell you. Leave any thoughts, questions, or anything else you want to say down in the comments.

I encourage you to leave comments below and I’d be more than happy to get back to you!

As always, I wish you the best and happy gaming!
